The Lower Secondary curriculum at TSJA (Grades 6 - 8) builds on Primary foundations and gives learners in-depth academic skills across various subjects. In addition to academic learning, students work on a combination of applied and real-world problems, building the skills required for success in their next stage of learning.

Fully integrated with the Cambridge Lower Secondary programme, it strengthens skills in English, Mathematics, Science, and core subjects while embedding Global Perspectives for critical global awareness.

Research projects like "Our study of microbes" (a Cambridge research project for Grades 6 - 8) interconnect Science, Humanities, Technology, and Arts, enabling students to tackle complex challenges collaboratively and creatively.   • These internationally benchmarked assessments, supplemented by annual Progression Tests, guide targeted support and ensure seamless readiness for IGCSE in Grades 9 and 10.
